The collection gives a varied picture of farmer groups marketing together in Uganda and with their own group regulations, collective fund raising and advices from agricultural institutions; small holder farmers steadily growing from subsistence to commercial agriculture. The radio spots highlight issues of group formation with simple indications like “Why form groups”, “Benefits of marketing together”, “Getting market information”.

The spots also highlight issues on group dynamics that affect any group like “Money matters”, “Women and men”, “Trust and transparency”.Together-to-market gives reinforcement to the farmer trainings conducted by FOODNET staff and is incorporated through the radios to provide extra education to farmers who require routine information on group marketing.

The series have been translated and aired in Ateso, Runyoro, Lusoga and Lwo in Voice of Teso (Soroti), Radio Kitara(Masindi), Busoga fm(Jinja) and (Radio Lira).
