Purpose Grating and/or chipping root and tubers
Mashing fruit and vegetables for juice extraction
Output Grating: 1.0 ton per hour
Chipping: 1.2 ton per hour
Power drive 5.0 Hp Petrol Engine
Target client Small- and Medium scale commercial processors
Advantage Simple drive for individual or simultaneous operation,
Compact design requires minimum processing space,
Provide opportunity for increased utilization of Cassava, other root and tuber crops,
Reduced investment and operating costs
Disadvantage Heavy machine: difficult to transport
Cost 275-400 $ Petrol Engine, 250-400 $ machine itself
Repair and Maintenance Rasper replacement every 1000 hours
Occasional sharpening of chipping blades,
Washing and greasing,
Regular engine check-up
Market potential / Status Limited as not many people need this 2 in 1 model
